Julie Brandt graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education. This is her third year at Happy Hands. She has previously worked in District 163 as a 1st and 2nd grade resource teacher and spent 14 years as an Early Childhood teacher at SPEED in Chicago Heights.  She has lived in Lemont for 12 years with her husband Mark and their two children, Charlie and Ellery. Both of her children are Happy Hands graduates. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family, reading, and traveling.  Mrs. Brandt says, “I am looking forward to building positive relationships with my students in order to help them thrive in school.”
